CuteFTP makes changing permissions simple.

1. FTP into your account on the server
2. Just highlight the file you want to check, and right-click on it.
3. A menu will pop up, then select "change file attributes".
4. A window will pop up showing the current permissions for the file you highlighted. Click on the boxes to change permissions as needed.
